The purpose of this study is to compare the economic performance of Mahathir Bin Mohamad’s government in Malaysia and Seyyed Mohammad Khatami’s in the Islamic Republic of Iran based on “Adrian Leftwich's” theory of the role of political structure and government in the economic growth and development of countries. The present study’s research method is library research and descriptive analytical research. Considering the common points in the thoughts of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami and Mahathir Bin Mohamad on economic development, this study examines the reasons behind the weaker performance of Seyyed Mohammad Khatami compared with his counterpart in Malaysia. The findings suggest that, despite Khatami's and Mahatir Bin Mohammad's similar economic views, Khatami was unable to fully implement his economic plans due to the lack of authority and power of the president in determining the economic policies of Iran. While the political structure and compliance of other Malaysian political institutions from Mahathir Bin Mohamad led him to move Malaysia towards economic development using his economic plans. Therefore, Iran's economic development requires a national consensus and support for established economic policies. In sum, economic development requires a calm and low-tension environment, the internal solidarity among the elite of the community, political and religious pluralism, political stability, and a culture of collective efforts. The purpose of the present study is to review the causes of the Seljuk kings’ need for religious and political legitimacy in the state structure and the policy of interaction between the Seljukids and Abbasids. In this regard and using a descriptive-analytic method, this question was answered: what policies and methods were undertaken by the Seljuk government to establish a powerful kingdom and acquire legitimacy from Abbasid caliphs? The results showed that the Turk Seljuks who reached power in Iran at early 5th century, like religious rulers, under the rubric of Islam ruled over Iran and made the highest use of the institution of Abbasid caliphate to justify their religious and political legitimacy and attempted to show their governance in front of people as justified, legitimate, and acceptable. This policy adopted by them had an impact on the state structure and gave direction to that. Manuscript profile

The study of the history of Armenia during the presence of the Parthians in Armenia and the establishment and continuation of their government created changes in various political, social and cultural spheres in Armenia, whose effects in some areas, years after their fall and even to the present day of continuity Found. Meanwhile, the role of the Parthians in creating an out-of-order social system is undeniable through the organization of its aristocratic dynasties and their application to the hierarchy of the political power structure in Armenia and its consolidation and sustainability even after the fall of this family. Their severity and weakness in the Armenian power structure during this period depended on the close relationship with the king's position and the spatial and temporal conditions that Armenia was taking advantage of. The influence of the Parthians in the political structure and administrative hierarchy and even the Armenian social classes during this period was partially influenced by the historical and cultural background of Armenia, due to the long-standing presence of the Iranian tribes ruling the land, and the Armenian Partisans, knowing this important truth, They were able to create important developments, especially in the social and cultural sphere in Armenia. Iran has not succeeded. The most important assumption should be made on the structure and the transnational nature of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its intellectual foundations, because this structure, behind its political ideology, which came from the Islamic Revolution of Iran and religious teachings, rather than the concepts of national unification emanating from history, The culture, language and mythological system existing in a common geographical border relies on values and principles that are transnational and global and can influence from a small group to the whole world. In this article, the descriptive-analytical method of the library type is used to study the texts, books and articles using the fishing technique. Manuscript profile

After the victory of Islamic revolution; a system was enacted that claimed to educate human beings and Islamize all social affairs and all fields of society. Aimed at realizing these goals; various policies were made and came into force. Despite many efforts; now it is obvious that the intended cultural objectives of Islamic republic of Iran have not been expectedly realized. This paper intends to investigate why there has been a challenge to the cultural reproduction process in the Islamic republic of Iran during the past three decades. The researchers have used a qualitative method and documentary studies and focused on the pluralization of internal structure of political system and its challenges to formulate, interpret, and administrate a consistent and efficient cultural policy. The studies indicate although there has been a relatively certain cultural pattern; cultural policies of Islamic republic of Iran in the last three decades were trapped both in compiling and administration levels and engaged in a disintegration and continuous ruptures and internal contradictions. Domination of this kind of conditions in the cultural policies will not be understood unless by putting the current trend of compiling and administration of cultural policies in the ground of political structure, internal contradiction and discourse disputes.    Manuscript profile
