1 - Investigating the meaning of guarantee in the Qur'an using the method of press semiotics

One of the differences between visual and Kufic syntax is the issue of spiritual substitution of letters, which the Kufis did not consider permissible, and the Basrians did not consider it permissible, and in the face of the question that some letters are used in their unreal meaning, they used the rule of guarantee. The guarantee of development is heterogeneous in the meaning of the verb along with the preposition. This definition of guarantee does not include all views; Because some methods accept spiritual liquor and some have accepted semantic conversion, and since guarantee is a prescriptive rule, a linguistic method must be used to correctly identify which method of dealing with guarantee is correct; Therefore, in order to recognize the truth of the meaning of guarantee in this paper, the method of press semiotics has been used and with this criterion, it has been determined that development in the meaning of signs has not taken place alone in the discussion of letters and has not taken place in verbs alone; Rather, in a two-way process, the two signs have combined their meanings in a combined forgery. 2 - A Semiotic Study of the Ode Kalimāt li al-Vatan (Words for fatherland) by Tawfiq Ziād on Peirce Theory

The poems of Tawfiq Ziād are blended with signs and symbols that multiplied the charism of resistance poems, and their emotional feeling have influences on the addressees. The signs in Tawfiq’s poems are accompanied by the images of fatherland love that can convey the main message of the poem. Applying Peirce's semiotic model in the criticism of resistance poems in addition to analysis and decoding these poems, can be effective in understanding the thoughts of this great poet. So, the present article tries to analyze in an analytic-descriptive method the characteristics of the ode Kalimāt li al-Vatan (Words for fatherland) by Tawfiq Ziād from semiotic approach based on Pierce theory that is on the triad of icon, index and symbol basis. This article intends to make clear that what sort of aesthetic signs are used by Tawfiq Ziād, the contemporary Palestinian poet, and how he used aesthetic signs to influence the addressees, as well as to reveal how we can reach hidden aspects of the poet's thoughts in using signs and codes in the light of semiotic, interpretative and semantic criticisms. This article shows that Pierce semiotic theory is an appropriate pattern for research in modern poems and is more powerful than the traditional rhetorics in terms of interpretation. Furthermore, due to the nature and type of resistance poems that are composed in the atmosphere of tyranny and suffocation, their signs are implicit and mysterious. In this ode the symbolic signs are more than iconic signs and indces.  Manuscript profile

3 - Pierced salt domes in the Persian Gulf and in the Zagros mountain ranges in southern Iran and their relationship to hydrocarbon and basement tectonics

The most enigmatic problems with the nearly 200 salt domes pierced in the Persian Gulf and in the Zagros Mountain Ranges (ZMR) in southern Iran, a unique morphology in the world, have been the matter of this study, which is based on a combination of field work, enhancement of satellite and aerial photographs etc. In the ZMR, structural anomalies are frequently associated with similar facies distribution patterns. In the eastern portion of the region, emergent salt plugs of Infra-Cambrian age exhibit the same alignment patterns. Such trends bear no apparent genetic relationship to the Tertiary folding responsible for the present Zagros fold belt, but rather indicate their affinity with linear basement features which are readily observable on Land sat imagery and aerial photographs. Bending of anticlines in the competent cover rock, combined with minor strike-slip faults and horizontal displacements of parts of folded structures, strongly point to the presence of these basement faults. The salt plugs, which have pierced cover rocks of up to 10000 m thick, are distributed on the Arabian Platform along regional basement faults. The area of diapir outcrops is bounded by the Oman Line to the east and by the Kazerun fault to the west. Pieces of the basement have been brought up to the surface on some of the salt domes. The fragments were transported by rotational ascent of the Hormuz Salt Formation to the present and former land surfaces. The recognition of features related to basement tectonics and realization of their implication in the control and modification of geological processes are important adjuncts to the search for hydrocarbon accumulations in this region. To our best knowledge, data of basement faults in the study area are scarce. Therefore, this study was carried out to determine basement faults and their relation to salt dome distribution. Considering the fold axes bending, the trend of the salt plugs and also the distribution of epicenters of the last century, numerous new basement faults are introduced in this paper. 4 - A Comparative Study of the Usage of Pierce Semiotic Patterns in the Poetry of Nīmā and Eliot

A great number of poetic creations originate from hidden and creative common pictures. The poet through novel combination of two elements or by placing an object in a new situation and condition attains artistic creativity, and thereafter obtains a system of signs. In such a relation, the created elements are no more new, as they have found the new existence, and each exists in union with the other. Prior to this poetic creation, these two separated elements have had a natural existence; however, this new and different combination makes them to rely on each other’s existential relation. Hence, there is a psycho – spiritual connection between them, which makes them immortal. In Pierce’s semiotics, such condition comes to the fore by Icons, Indexical and symbolic signs. Considering this in mind, it seems that Eliot and Nīmā have also used these signs in their poetic vocations; hence, this article attempts to make a study of Pierce’s semiotics in the poetry of Eliot and Nīmā Yushij.
