        The eight-year period of the Iraqi Ba'ath regime's war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, although it has had many losses in various fields, but its positive impact on the dynamics of national hidden wealth in various cultural, epic, military, and moral areas, Scientific, industrial, artistic and ... undeniable. Sacred defense narratives are one of the achievements of the imposed war which the present study has attempted to study the impact of these narratives as one of the most important cultural components on the national authority of the country. This research was conducted with qualitative approach and its data were analyzed by interpretive method - one of the methods of analysis in qualitative research - and data collection was done by library method with tooling. Given that cultural authority is one of the important components of national authority and sacred defense narratives, it is one of the main features of cultural authority. Extracts from the texts related to the sacred defense narratives, among which the flourishing of the culture of national self-reliance and overcoming economic, political and propaganda pressures is the most important cultural symbol.         The purpose of the present study is to review the positive and negative impacts of the role of culture and values in national authority. The method of research is descriptive-analytic and the results showed that culture more than any other aspect is related to globalization. Cultural, national, religious, and ethical identities get a new form in the ground of globalization so they should not be sanctified as definite and unchangeable traditions but rather, should be considered as flexible processes that not only can adapt themselves to new circumstances but also be redefined in terms of purposes and goals to sustain their solidarity despite flexibility. Undoubtedly, Iran as a globalized country would be more successful in keeping its identity than an isolated and backward country. Manuscript profile
