This paper attempts to examine Bayazid's thoughts according to his shathiyat1 and research in Sufi and mystical people and clear-sighted persons who are highlighted in Islamic mysticism history about foregoing subject .In the first meeting of the sunlight of Tabriz (Shams-e-Tabrizi) and young teacher of Balkh (Mowlavi) in Quniyeh. A question caused commotion in Mowlavi's thought . This question has two halves, one half is a Shateh like Bayazid Bastami. In this question Shams Tabriz asked Mowlavi: "Who is superior , prophet or Bayazid ?If prophet is superior and of course he is superior, why Bayazid has said: I am pure and what a superior position I have and prophet has said,: I haven't known you, in proper condition .These two halves question have two predicates that second predicate is legal, famous and acceptable, but the first predicate is  shath like statement that involves every knowledgeable mind. Reaction of Bayazib's speech causes support of religious dignitaries such as :Imam Ismael Mostamali Bakhari ,Imam mohammad Kalabazi , Atar and movlavi ,….And colludes suitable analysis by religious dignitaries (sheikh) such as Abnaeim Isfahani ,Abu nasr Seraj and Khajeh Qosheiri. Whatever is considerable in Bayazid's shath can be classified in four chapters: his narrow—mindedness ,shaths and his harsh speech, Bayazid's knowledge, that is simulating madness and God's love in Bayazid's heart. Sleep, dream, and death are mysterious and wonderful phenomena of human being that constantly have kept the mind preoccupied. Scholars, mystics, psychologists, etc. all have tried to illuminate the unknown worlds from their own perspectives and make a part of it clarified and explain it. In religious mentality, both sleep and death are in charge of transferring soul into the heaven thus they look very much alike. The difference is that in death soul is transferred permanently while in sleep that is temporary. Inspired by the Koranic and tradition, Mowlavihas dealt with other kinds of these phenomena mystically in addition to those of sleep and natural death. This paper tries to study sleep and death from mysticism point of view and their relationship are discussed and explained by Mowlana. Manuscript profile

One of the literary techniques used by poets and writers is irony. Irony refers to a speech or situation which results in discordance between the audience and the speaker. In such a case, the speaker says something or acts in a certain manner while the understanding of the audience differs from what the speaker intended. In irony, we find two elements: first, the element of innocence, and, second, the element of humor. Innocence, or unknowing trust, mostly relates to the victim of the irony who usually puts his/her trust in the ironist, and falls victim to the deception or pretense of the ironist. The element of humor is the other essential feature of irony. In ironic stories, the characters of the story are juxtaposed in a manner to create a humorous effect. The present article investigated the function of situational and dramatic irony in Masnavi. Molavi, drawing on situational and dramatic irony, has attempted to put the audience in a situation where they, while being aware of the ironic nature of the situation, are surprised, and, therefore, gain a better understanding of the rich concepts. Ironic speech has enabled Molavi to adopt an approach in the climax of the story which is unexpected by the audience, thus dealing them the final blow, and he takes great advantage of such an opportunity to present his rich irfanic [=of true knowledge] and didactic concepts.   Manuscript profile

The idea of instability of creatures, successive becoming, perpetual creation in philosophical, theological and mysticism thoughts has had different and similar interpretation. Muslim theologians familiarity with Greek and Indian thoughts and mystic explanations and interpretations of Quran have left behind different believes in religious and mystical culture. The concept of becoming, in the discussion of the knowledge of the universe of Ash'arite's theologians in the form of the rule: "The accident doesn’t remain in two moments" leads to rejection of causal connections and proving God's absolute authority. Mowlavi  teaches to his audiences his thoughts based on his mystical method while he accepts the impact from this rule. He also considers substances to be changing and sees their origins and truth as the Unity which has a different manifestation, moment by moment in addition to accidents. In his belief, levels of existence experience new existence after non-existence in succession of instants and at the same time they are not different from the Unity and they bring up idea of Unity of existence, manifestation and with-ness of God. This article intends to explain how Ash'arite's theologians and Mowlavi Jalal al-Din thought about the concept by analytical-descriptive method Manuscript profile

Islamic mysticism is a phenomenon formed on the grounds of philosophical and theosophical thoughts. This rich cultural process holds many meanings and teachings of previous schools of thought. Neo-Platonic philosophy is an important origin for Islamic mysticism and Sufism, reflected in the works of the outstanding mystics of the 6th and 7th Hegira centuries: Farid al-Din Attar Neishaburi and Jalal al-Din Mohammad Balkhi. Discovery, classification, and explication of the components existing in the Neo-Platonic philosophical system in Attar’s and Mowlavi’s poems reveal deep influences of Plato on these two summits of Islamic mysticism. The present article tries to present some evidence for this deep and basic influence Manuscript profile

The literature of any ethnic group reflects the culture of that ethnic group and expresses their attitude towards existence, and in fact, the identity of any society is manifested in its literature. In the literature of different nations and ethnicities, there are different views on the personality of women. By reflecting on the type of attitude of the creator of Masnavi, it is possible to understand the type of fusion of cultures and their influence from each other. The study of the role of women in most of the famous mystical stories and their role-playing and reflection of their different faces during the anecdotes is one of the debates that has always been disputed by scholars and researchers. The results show that Rumi's view of women is a relative It is two-sided. Sometimes woman in her works is a bridge from virtual love to real love and shows the manifestation of the beauty and glory of the Almighty, which truly and correctly expresses her purpose in creating woman. Examining the traits and roles of women in Masnavi stories makes them better known, and their actions and reactions during the stories are correctly identified. Therefore, the author of this dissertation, through descriptive-analytical method and gathering information in a library style, has tried to highlight the prominent aspects of women's personality and traits in Masnavi, such as: soul, love, beauty, marriage, chastity and zeal, motherhood, Fear, superficiality and cunning, which is based on analysis. Did Mowlavi have any connections with Moh’yeddin Arabi and has he been influenced? Based on Shamse Tabrizie’s Critical view point regarding Mohyeddin, departure from Mohyeddin because of this fact? Since in many interpertations of Masnavi, Mawlavi has been interpreted based on Ebne Arabi, This is due to Mawlavie’s approach or the interpreters themselves? Some of Mowlavi’s poems may have connection with pantheism but generally Mowlavi is not pantheist. Interpretations that have been indeed are approach and interpretation of Commentators. The two great thinkers of Persian literature, Khayyâm and Mowlavi, are representative of two different attitudes about the death. Khayyâm is a philosophic poet, for whom, being in doubt is the basis of his meditations. His doubt about the metaphysical matters influences his thoughts on the death. Mowlavi’s mystical thoughts about the death, by contrast, have caused him to see life in everything, thereby; death and annihilation lose their meaning. In this paper, first we study the subject of death in the thought of Mowlavi, leaning on his Maθnavi and Divâne shams, because the important views of Mowlavi about the death have been appeared in these works. Then the fundamental concepts about the death in the thought of Khayyâm have been considered. The outstanding  results of this research are these: With due attention to this point that Mowlavi considers the death as a necessary to development of human’s existence, the concept of death in his thought has been changed to life. In his worldview because the man is eternal, death is only a transition to eternal life. But in the thought of Khayyâm the concept of death is ambiguous and unknown, because he believes in this principal that “Human can not obtain the knowledge about the secrets of existence”. Narratology has in recent decades been more concerned with presenting different theories and has been at least helpful in many ways in fiction literature. In this regard, one of the prominent theorists is Gerard Genet, who has relied on the concept of tone and has made a significant development in narrative. The application of the foundations of Genetic ideas in Persian stories reveals new portions of the writer's work. In the field of classical Persian literature, Rumi is a distinguished figure. In Masnawi he has described many moral, mystical and religious issues at the heart of the story. In the next article, the descriptive-analytical method explores the narrative techniques used in the narrative of Arabi -o- Zanash and its tone with an approach to Genetic ideas. The results show that the dominant time of narration, coincidence and location of high frequency narrative, was the hero. In other words, the inner monologue was the only component not seen in the story. This reflects the extraversion of their personalities and their activism in the real world.   Manuscript profile

Love is one of the most important concepts expressed in Divan-e Shams, where it has a human personality with specific behavioral characteristics. The human traits attributed to love, and the manner of occurrence of these features in the path of mysticism is important given Mowlavi's perception of love. In this research, the traits and behaviors of love as an acting being were extracted from Divan-e Shams, and the actions of love on the path of the lover's uprising in reaching God, were categorized in five main stages. Manifesting its traits to the lover, love moves from its most intense incarnation, which is “bloodthirsty”, to its most delicate expression which is “mother”. The most intense image of love shows characteristics related to ”pleasure” and “being loved” , and these concepts are most frequent. Then there’s “enmity” with images like “aggressive”, “bloodthirsty”, etc. The third feature is love’s being “guide”. These images, emphasizes on the affectionate aspects of love. That is in conflict with the image of love as a powerful being which is seen at the first look at Divan-e Shams. Manuscript profile

The phenomenon of death is one of the most mysterious issues related to humanity. No one has been and will be able to decipher the mystery of death through wisdom. The intellectuals of various disciplines have attempted to define and describe it in any way or any form of expression, but have gained little success in this regard. One of these intellectuals is Mawlana Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Balkhī (Rumi) who has frequently addressed this issue in Masnavi in a meticulous and leading manner. He has raised issues about the nature of death, the types of death, the wisdoms of death, lessons learned from death, fear of death, indicating death, etc. Using allegorical expressions, Mowlavi has made the audiences of Mathnavi familiar with death which signifies his special attention to the topic in the area of “Thinking of Death”. The present study is an attempt to find out Rumi's viewpoints through his layers of expression and deep and creative contemplations of his poetry by reflecting on Mathnavi; in addition to that, the current study is also aimed at present presenting the wisdoms of death in the teachings of Mathnavi.   Manuscript profile
