Abstract       Hakim Nezami, the poet of the 6th century, by his profound and strict knowledge of the vicissitudes of his era and familiarity with the kings and vassals' manner, considers himself as a social peacemaker, responsible to guide all people, from the rulers to the peasants towards the good deed to provide ideal society regarding the mundane world and the dooms' day. To attain this, he provides a concoction of divine knowledge, religious problems, justice and altruism to cure and eradicate the disease and disorganization  of the society. Though in his writings, Nezami has dealt with the Gnostic themes, love and historic and epic poems, the theme of all of them is didactic and ethical notes to the rulers and the ranks of people. I have tried to expound the educational and ethical aspects of the Leili and Majnoon from the rhetoric point of view and by using guidance, persuasion, threatening, irony, praying, and supplication. Altogether, Nezami's emphasis lies on guidance, prohibition of the roguery of the society. Manuscript profile
