Ilia Abu Mazi lived in twentieth century and in the imitation toward to innovation era. Although he did not have a deep philosophy in his poetry he outstripped Thomas Aquinas who lived in thirtieth century. This philosophy was one the most important ones in that era which the church had accepted it. Abu Mazi was completely pessimistic; although the life stream can destroy any thing in its way but the abovementioned poet could overcome it. The hometown was like a black paper which ignorance and cruelty could be seen everywhere. His pessimism was similar to Khayam’s and the present paper tries to study the similarities and differences of these two poets. Manuscript profile

The present paper endeavors to find a relationship between Khayam's philosophy and his mythology. Because it is found out that the selection of poetry for his ideas according to the relationship between poetry and mythology has been out of consciousness simply because there are various signs that prove his mythology such as mythological time, rounds and cycle of drinking wine, flowers and grass growing out of earth and then being turned into soil again, pottery and pot, witnessing the body parts of human beings out of suspended dust in the air, and the like. Explanation of mythological insight is not possible except through literature and poetry. Else, due to the signs related to earth, it is highlighted that Khayam's inclination is towards earth because according to mythologists every artist, writer, and poet tries to choose one of the four elements of life. We believe that Khayam's element is that of earth so that we strive to prove it via the signs extracted out of his quartet. Thus, the research methodology has been quantitative and descriptive and the relevant information has been provided through library studies. The purpose of writers has been more on proving Khayam's mythology with an emphasis on earth. The outcome has been Khayam's inclination on such a generative element as earth. Manuscript profile

In 1990’s  we witnessed the  revision of almost  all scientific, philosophical, and artistic areas in human knowledge, for this reason, the view of urban renovation and restoration was changed compared with that of previous decades when a minor attention was paid to urban regeneration issues. Considering the past of historical identity of different period, it has a new identity consistent with conditions of today’s life on its agenda. Accordingly, urban regeneration becomes a comprehensive concept, a concept that considers improvement and rehabilitation of old textures in all economic, physical, social, and cultural dimensions. This research is a comparative study of regeneration of Khayam texture of Tehran, and Liverpool 1 in  the UK, because both samples are located in central texture of the city, and their surrounding textures has identity-related values. Regeneration plan for Liverpool 1 project (2008) was recognized as the Europe’s best regeneration project, and Khayam block redevelopment project (Tehran) is also the largest recreation plan conducted by Tehran municipality after Islamic Revolution. This comparison aims to study objectives and measures in the two plan, the reasons behind the success of Liverpool 1, non-realization of predetermined objectives in regeneration of Khayam, and finally, provision of solutions for realization of predetermined objective of Khayam texture. The result is that adoption of short term and temporal policies, with consistent and prearranged planning, and lack of public participation from the beginning to the end, and failure to consider historical identity and position of Khayam texture resulted in failure of Khayam regeneration. Descriptive-analytical and comparative research method was used. Data collection was conducted by documentary, library and field observation method. Manuscript profile
