  Abstract The purpose of the research was to predict academic vitality based on spiritual intelligence and self-compassion in students. The research method is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population is all students of the Faculty of Psychology of Islamic Azad University, Karaj branch. The study sample includes 250 students who were selected by multi-stage cluster random method and answered three questionnaires of academic vitality, spiritual intelligence and self-compassion. Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise regression were used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that there is a significant positive relationship between academic vitality, self-compassion and spiritual intelligence. Also, the results of the regression analysis showed that 44% of self-compassion and 20% of spiritual intelligence can predict academic vitality. The results indicate that academic vitality can be predicted by using self-compassion and spiritual intelligence of students. Manuscript profile
