  Summary-During the taxonomic studies on the nematodes of the family Criconematidae in Iran, three species of sheath nematodes, including Hemicriconemoides strictathecatus, Hemicycliophora lutosa and H. sturhani were identified from soil and root samples collected from different fields, orchards, forests and pastures.
