This study aimed to predicting emotional maturity based on attachment styles and social adjustment. This study was cross-sectional from type of correlation. Among the adolescents boys of Zanjan city in 1398 year, number of 200 people were selected as sample with available sampling method. To collect data used from the questionnaires of emotional maturity (Singh and Bhargava, 1991), attachment styles (Collins and Reid, 1990) and social adjustment (Bell, 1961) and to analyze data used from methods of Pearson correlation and multiple regression with enter model in SPSS version 19 software. The findings showed that secure attachment style (r=0.37) and social adjustment (r=0.29) had a positive and significant relationship with emotional maturity and avoidance (r—0.40) and ambivalent (r=-0.44) insecure attachment styles had a negative and significant relationship with emotional maturity. Other findings showed that attachment styles and social adjustment were able to significantly explain 33.6% of emotional maturity changes of adolescents boys (P<0.05). Based on the results, it is recommended to increase the emotional maturity of adolescents boys through workshops, especially parenting workshops can increase secure attachment style and social adjustment and decrease avoidance and ambivalent insecure attachment styles. Purpose: The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of emotional therapy schema on emotional divorce and emotional maturity of couples seeking divorce. Methodology: The method of this research is semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of this research was all couples seeking divorce in Babol city in 1401. The statistical sample in this research includes 30 divorce-seeking couples (15 for the control group and 15 for the experimental group) who were selected by available sampling and randomly replaced in two groups. Data collection tools were Yasvir Sink and Bhargava's emotional maturity questionnaire and Gutman's emotional divorce scale. In this research, to analyze the data from descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and from inferential statistics, following the assumptions of multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) with SPSS version 26 software. Findings: The findings of the research showed that emotional therapy schema training has an effect on emotional divorce and emotional maturity of couples seeking divorce. Conclusion: According to the obtained results, it was found that emotional schema therapy is effective on the emotional divorce of couples seeking divorce. Manuscript profile

Purpose: Human emotions and feelings play a significant role in mental health. In this regard, emotional maturity is a skill that manages emotions in response to environmental demands. The present study aimed to predict emotional maturity based on early maladaptive schemas mediated by empathy in college students. Methodology: The research method was descriptive and correlational. The study population consists of Ferdowsi University students enrolled in the academic year 2022-2023. Among them, 353 individuals were selected through convenience sampling. Singh and Bhargava Emotional Maturity Scale (1990), Young Schema Questionnaire (1998), and Mehrabian and Epstein Balanced Emotional Empathy Scale (1972) were used for data collection. Structural equation modeling was employed to examine the mediating role of variable. Findings: The Pearson correlation coefficient indicated a significant negative correlation between early maladaptive schemas and emotional maturity and empathy. Additionally, emotional maturity had a significant positive correlation with empathy. The results of the structural equation model revealed that the relationship between early maladaptive schemas and emotional maturity is directly established and empathy cannot mediate this relationship. Conclusion: Given the results of this study, the impact of early maladaptive schemas on emotional maturity can be of increased concern. Manuscript profile

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral skills training on increasing the emotional maturity in undergraduate students.   Method: The statistical population of this study consisted of all undergraduate students taught in 1969-97 and a sample of 40 people who were selected by cluster sampling method and randomly assigned to two experimental and control groups. Case tool The use of Singh and Spring Gawa Maturity Questionnaire (1974) was used. The methodology was applied to all students before the test and after the students of the experimental group participated in 12 sessions, all post-test students were enrolled and the data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance test. it placed   Results: The results showed that experimental intervention (cognitive-behavioral education) had a positive and significant effect on increasing the emotional maturity of undergraduate students in the field of counseling.   Conclusion: Using cognitive reconstruction technique, when emotional thoughts and cognitive distortions are identified and rational and appropriate thoughts are replaced, the emotional maturity of individuals increases. The present study compares the status of high school female and male students in some psychological variables and examines the predictive power of each variable in their academic achievement. The statistical population of the study is all male and female students of secondary schools in the city of Ilam in the academic year 1395-1396 with population size 10496 and the sample size was determined by the Crecy and Morgan table, and 374 students were enrolled. The sampling method was applied to multimodal cluster sampling according to the educational areas of Ilam city, which completed Dupirat and Marin's Intelligence Beliefs Scale (2005) and Yashwir Singh's and Mahesh's Spring Scales (1991). Descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a significant difference between male and female students of Ilam Secondary Schools in emotional maturity and IQs, and the girls in the sample group have lower emotional maturity and intelligence beliefs than boys. Also, the factor of "sentiment" as an effective variable was 4.6% of the variance of emotional instability, 5.4% of emotional return variance, 4.3% of variance of personality disorder, 6.7% of variance of social incompatibility, 3.6% of variance of lack of independence , 2.8% of the variance of incremental belief beliefs and 2.6% of the variance of intrinsic intelligence beliefs. Therefore, gender transformations in the field of education can not be limited and limited to quantitative changes and a dramatic increase compared to female students. Manuscript profile

This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of emotional maturity in the relationship between family communication patterns and empathy. Three hundred students (179 females, 121 males) were selected by multistage random cluster sampling method .The participants completed the Family Communication Patterns  Questionnaire (Fitzpatrick & Ritchie, 1994), the Emotional Maturity Scale (Singh & Bhargava, 1974), and the Empathy Scale (Mehrabian & Epstein, 1972). The results of simultaneous multiple regression indicated that: a) dimensions of family communication patterns were the positive and significant predictor of empathy, b) the conversation orientation was negative and significant predictor of all components of emotional maturity, c) the conformity orientation was positive and significant predictor of emotional instability and social maladjustment, and d) the emotional maturity partially mediated the relationship between family communication patterns and empathy. Given the strong role of the conversation orientation in predicting empathy, it is argued that educating and promoting conversation orientation may increase the emotional maturity and empathic behavior in families.   Manuscript profile
