The aim of present study was to investigation on hematopoietic activity of chicken embryo in exposure to extremely low frequency (ELF-EMF). In present study, the effect of exposure to 50 Hz, 0.5 mT EMF during different periods of incubation on hematological parameters (erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin and WBC, lymphocyte, eosinophil, monocyte and heterophil) count was investigated. Experimental groups included group1 or control was under normal incubation process and without any exposing to EMFs, group2; includes eggs exposed to 50Hz, 0.5 mT, 2h daily for 0-7 days of incubation, group3; includes eggs exposed for 2h daily from day-8 to -14 of incubation, group4; includes eggs exposed from days-15 to -21 of incubation and group5; includes eggs exposed from days-1 to -21 of incubation (entire incubation period). Incubation condition (with exception to EMF exposing) was similar for all groups. At time of EMF exposing eggs were transferred to EMF emitter set and after exposing period, eggs were transferred to their rows (setter). exposing to 50 Hz, 0.5 mT EMF during different periods of embryonic life (first, second or third week and entire incubation period) didn’t has any significant effect on erythrocyte counts, hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit and relative measures, whereas WBC counts (with exception of minor increases eosinophil for group 3) didn’t have change in any period of EMF exposure, too. It was concluded that embryonic or pre-hatch exposure to EMFs: 50 Hz, 0.5 mT during different periods of incubation didn’t has significant effect on hematological parameters  includes erythrocytes, hematocrit, hemoglobin, total leukocyte, lymphocyte, eosinophil, monocyte and heterophil count.  Manuscript profile

Electromagnetic fields is one of the effective factors on the living organisms, and therefore in thepresent study the effects of different treatments of electromagnetic fields on the growth indices ,antioxidant activity and vegetative and sexual structures of Pumpkin were assayed. Seed samples ofpumpkin were treated by 2 mT of electromagnetic fields , in 15 and 30 mins, in to different groupsnamed dry and wet. Microtomic and manual sectioning were used to study the vegetative and sexualstructures. The results showed that the treatment affected some indices in the negative or somehowpositive way. The array of xylem in leave section and trichomes structure were also changed. Thesize of trichomes were significantly increased . In 30 min wet treatment the xylem was more hugeand the number of vessels increased. There was no remarkable difference between the treatments andcontrol sample in vegetative meristems of stem and root in microtomy section. But generativemeristems were more massive and more cheeky. There was no difference between the treatments andcontrol sample in anther wall either, except a change in 30 minute wet treatment which was theincrease of the number of transition layer cells. The most changes were in 30 minute wet treatments. In those treatments ovum and stew tissue were injured and the embryo sac was abnormal. Also therewas a gap between cortex and stew tissue. Increasing applications of electric and electromagnetic fields have caused some anxieties in human health. This research work has been done on the effects of 0.04 T and 0.06 T intensities with 50HZ frequency in blood cell of adult NMRI mice. In this work solenoid coils to produce electromagnetic fields were used two experimented groups (n=12) were exposed to electromagnetic wave four hours a day for 28 days. The results of experimental groups were compared with sham groups (n=6) and controls (n=6). Electromagnetic investigation of blood cell showed significant decrease of red blood cell(RBC) , white blood cell(WBC) , platelet (Pt) , hemoglobin (Hb) and MCHC (pandlt;0.05) in 0.06 and 0.04 mT electromagnetic field compared with sham and control groups. The amount of MCV and MCH increased at the same field significantly. Mean value of hematocrit in different groups did not show significant change. Results of this research work showed electromagnetic field could effect on the blood cell, As a result of damage on liver cells because of being exposed electromagnetic were this change will happen.
