  The present article studies two stories comparatively: “Virtuous Woman” of Attar’s Elahi Nameh – the attempts of a woman who was accused to disloyalty to be honorable and virtuous; thus she was inevitable to move away and became answered invitation against the adversity – “thousand and one night” by Boccaccion is a novel about a princess who faces events and accidents during the travel to his husband – Morocco’s king – and had to accept some requests. The aim of this paper is to study two stories – which are from different nations – similarities, the number of events, the travels’ goal, stories’ characters, time, place and the narrators.   Although Attar has never enjoyed and benefitted from this world m but as he had experienced the tyranny attacks of Mongol Ilghar and Ghoz Turk rebels to Iran during which the poverty, oppression, corruption and misery were spreading in Iran, he has not looked at this world in a poetic style , and in fact the pedagogical views and images of the world have been drawn by him in the framework of the poems and because of this, neither these images are pleasant nor suitable, and some of them are horrible and terrible. Sometimes some beautiful images and views are seen but they are deeply filled with fear and grief, and because they are linked to the afterlife, they are not drawn properly. In this thesis the world is going to be seen in the view point of this poet and those pictures present among his speeches are introduced and provided for the careful readers.   Virtuous woman is the title of the first story from the first article taken from the first Attar’s Masnavi, Elahi Nameh.  It is a story with 309 couplets and is considered the third longest after the story of “Sheikh Sanaan”, and “Rabee” in Attar’s Masnavis. The criticism and investigation of this story could penetrate into obscure corners of Attar’s art of storytelling.  The purpose of this article is to analyze the different elements of the story of the virtuous woman and investigate the technique of defamiliarization in order to throw some light on the structure of storytelling used by Attar. The most significant analytical points, expressing the genealogy of the story, studying  different elements of the story such as, point of view, character and characterization, plot, language, tone, and theme made possible the outcome of this research.
