        Mothers caring for children with autism and children with physical disabilities not only suffer from the stigma of society; rather, they are at risk for mental health problems and disabilities.The aim of the present study was to the comparison of the effectiveness of schema-based education and acceptance and commitment-based education on Compassion Fatigu in family caring mothers. The research method was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test, and follow-up with a control group. The statistical population of this study was all mothers with children with autism and children with physical-motor disabilities were educating in special schools in Tehran in 2019, from which 45 mothers eligible volunteers entered the study and with the homogenization of age and duration of care assigned to two experimental groups and a control group. Participants answered to the Compassion Fatigu Inventory for Family Caregivers; Young Schema Questionnaire-short form (1998) and Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-II by Bond et al. (2011). Mixed analysis method and SPSS 25 software was used to analyze the data. The research results indicate schema-based training (F= 11.41 & p < 0.01) and acceptance and commitment-based training (F= 19.77 & p < 0.01), were effective on compassion fatigue by relying on control group.Based on the achievements of this research, schema-based training and acceptance and commitment-based training are both effective on reducing compassion fatigue of family caring mothers.
