        Approximate computing is a new design concept that causes a trade-off between circuitry performance and accuracy. The approximate circuits are more useful in error-resilient applications, like image processing. This paper introduces a new imprecise 4:2 compressor with 12 transistors. The presented compressor exhibits low power consumption and provides full-swing outputs, due to the utilization of gate diffusion input and dynamic threshold techniques. The implementation of this compressor using a 16 nm carbon nanotube field-effect transistor (CNTFET) technology yields a minimum area. According to the simulation results, the suggested imprecise 4:2 compressor shows a significant reduction in power consumption and power-delay-product (PDP) compared to the precise 4:2 compressor, with a reduction of 95.18% and 95.27%, respectively. Also, the compressor is evaluated regarding the approximate figure of merits like error rate, mean error distance, and normalized mean error distance.         The range of operation of compressors is limited by the surge phenomenon. Surge control is inevitable to deal with this phenomenon. In this paper, a solution to control it with a fuzzy controller using a surge control line and a surge line using a remote control. The speed of the compressor is also expressed using the anti-surge valve (in combination). A fuzzy controller is designed to stop the surge according to the compressor model with a high degree of safety.         Due to the ever-increasing human need for drinking water and limitation of available drinking water resources, we always need to use salty waters of the seas and oceans for converting into purified drinking water. In the article, a variety of water treatment processes is reviewed and applied. In all the processes, energy must be used for the preparation of purified water. Since the resources for available energy are also limited, the researchers always attempt to identify the best method for water purification in terms of cost, energy consumption and the other items. Also, with thermo-economic analysis, they cause the cost of drinking water is minimized. Among a variety of Multi Effect Desalination methods, Multi Effect Desalination with Parallel Feed along with Steam Ejector is analyzed thermo-economically. Moreover, the conditions are investigated in that we can have less cost for purified water. Finally, we will observe that in Multi Effect Desalination methods, Steam Ejector reduces the cost up to 60%. In Multi Effect Desalination refineries, even if the temperature of salt water in the first stage is 70°-80°, Steam Ejector will cause to produce most purified water. Manuscript profile

        Technology transfer and adoption is a complex issue in the third world which, from scientific as well as cultural, political and economical aspects, has involved not only the developing countries but also many of the Western research communities and international organizations for years. The present research investigates the success rate of technology transfer of Screw Compressor industry in Iranian companies. The research is applied from the viewpoint of research objective, but it is descriptive from the viewpoint of methodology. In order to collect data, a researcher-devised questionnaire has been used. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by the experts, and Cronbach's Alpha was used to confirm the reliability of the questions (α = 0.81). The research population consists of the managers of the companies that have transferred Screw Compressor technology in Iran, totaling 20 companies. Techniques of descriptive statistics including frequency table as well as inferential statistics including mean, standard deviation, variance analysis test (ANOVA) and the Duncan's grouping were used to analyze the data. The results show that 78.9 percent of the subjects have cited the role of management and the country's economic conditions, 57.89 percent have cited the effect of the country's environmental situation, 73 percent have cited the role of human resources (experts and technical staff), and 84.21 percent have cited the role of research and development as the main factor in the success or failure of the technology transfer. The average of management factor is 4.1, the research and development factor is 4, the environmental situation factor is 3.7, the economic condition factor is 3.8, and the average of human resources factor is 4.2. The Anova test indicated that there is a significant difference among the factors affecting the success of the technology transfer of Screw compressor industry in Iran. In other words, Duncan's grouping indicated that the management, research and development, and human resources factors have a greater and more significant effect than the environmental situation and economic condition factors.         Compressors are of particular importance due to their wide application in various industries for compression and gas transmission. Due to the increasing use of compressors in the industry, it is imperative to determine a mathematical model for the compressor to design a control system, analyze it and its simulating in corresponding computer software like MATLAB. In recent years, intelligent modeling such as neural and fuzzy networks due to the more realistic performance of these models has been considered by researchers. Its types have been used for modeling. Intelligent methods have a high ability to stablish a relation between input and output data. On the other hand, in compressors surge phenomenon is a challenging case which occurs very quickly and will cause damage to the compressor and the production process. This phenomenon is defined as an instability in the operation of the compressor. Surge control expands the operating range of the compressor and exhibit the occurrence of this phenomenon. This article reviews modeling, surge phenomenon, and types of active and inactive surge control. For modeling, from the Moore–Greitzer’s model to intelligent models, it has been studied that according to the obtained results, it can be said that the Moore–Greitzer’s model has more errors over time than intelligent models and is a suitable model. Not from the compressor. Next, the control of the surge phenomenon in the compressor is checked by active and passive methods. The compressor's control in the active mode does not require a compressor performance curve. Still, in the passive method, it controls the compressor by using the performance curve and creating a safety margin from the surge line. So as not to enter the surge phenomenon.         In this work, surge of prevention is a critical problem in oil and gas industries, particularly when return gas flow or gas flow reduces in transportation of gas pipelines. This paper is illustrated new results about surge control of centrifugal compressors .surge phenomenon is flow unsteady state in compressors which causes damages seriously in compressor construction. Furthermore, it also demonstrates in comparison with anti surge control ،active surge control expands stability range.Active surge control which based on fuzzy logic،is the main idea that used in this investigation. Using fuzzy controller causes an improvement in compressor's condition and increase performance range of the compressor, in addition to prevention of any instability in compressor.         با توجه به اهمیت سیکل­های تولید توان و از آن جمله سیکل ترکیبی، در سال‌های اخیر مطالعات فراوانی در این زمینه صورت گرفته و محققان بسیاری با استفاده از روش‌های موجود سعی در بهینه کردن این سیکل­ها داشته­اند.در این تحقیق به بررسی سیکل آب- آمونیاک پرداخته‌شده است. در سیکل ترکیبی آب-آمونیاک از مخلوط دوگانه آب- آمونیاک به‌عنوان سیال عامل استفاده می­شود. این سیکل قابلیت استفاده از منابعی مانند انرژی اتلافی سیکل قدرت معمولی و یا منبع حرارتی مستقلی که از انرژی خورشیدی و یا زمین‌گرمایی استفاده می‌کند را دارد. هدف از این مقاله بررسی تأثیر دمای ورودی به توربین بر عملکرد ترمودینامیکی سیکل ترکیبی آب-آمونیاک هست.در این پژوهش به کمک نرم‌افزارEESابتدا سیکل تولید توان آب- آمونیاک مدل­سازی شده و سپس به‌منظور بررسی و مقایسه، سیکل ترکیبی گاز- رانکین شبیه‌سازی ترمودینامیکی شده و از دیدگاه قانون اول و دوم ترمودینامیک موردمطالعهقرارگرفته‌اند. درنهایت به بررسی تأثیر دمای ورودی به توربین بر عملکرد ترمودینامیکی پرداخته‌شده است Manuscript profile
