The purpose of the study is to assess managers’ and libraries’ point of view about exploiting the model value of Green IT in IAU libraries in Mazandaran province. The purpose of the study is applied and the method is comparative. In order to collect data we used Green IT model value Questionnaire. The validity of questionnaire estimated by theoretical experts and for the purpose of final evaluation, Cronbach’s alpha coefficient were used. The research community is 37 persons from all the librarians of IAU central libraries in Mazandaran province. The sampling method was census. The findings suggested that there is a significant difference between managers and libraries point of view regarding the effective factors on exploiting the model value of Green IT in all cases except satisfaction and the expected average level. Also the point of view of all librarians and managers was the same about all effective factors on exploiting Green IT model value in libraries. The point of view of managers with different job records and different degrees was also the same except demographic characteristics of gender in satisfaction. Objective The purpose of this study was to design a process model of service value creation for clients through knowledge sharing behavior among academic librarians with emphasis on quantitative approach. Method: This research is applied in terms of purpose, in terms of approach, heuristic, and in terms of data analysis, qualitative-quantitative. In the qualitative phase of the research, 9 experts in the field of knowledge management (including academic professors, university library executives, and highly qualified aristocratic advisors) were selected and interviewed in depth. The theoretical saturation of the researcher continued. In the quantitative phase, all librarians of central academic libraries were considered as the statistical population and 210 of them were selected by simple random sampling method. In the quantitative phase, the main data collection tool was also used. A researcher-made questionnaire containing 42 items was designed based on the conceptual model. In the quantitative phase of the research, SPSS and Lisrel softwares were used to perform descriptive and inferential analyzes. Results: In this study, with the emphasis of managers on the necessity of sharing knowledge, in the degree of understanding and willingness and work commitment of librarians, in order to obtain information in the fields of information technology and communication and organizational culture in the library, in order to investigate librarians ' understanding. In the calculation of some of the processes and organizational practices governing the library and during the findings, it was found that benchmarking has a significant effect on libraries of prestigious internal and external universities in knowledge management. Conclusion:Finally, the research results lead to the design of a service value creation process model for university librarians through knowledge sharing behavior among librarians (based on the paradigm model structure), and the hypothetical model relationships are tested in a large community. This research, is done by using survey-descriptive method and aims to study students' familiarity and use of library services in Karaj Islamic Azad University. The research population is composed of 400 students out of 20000 students and after distributing the questionnaire (including 17 closed and 2 open-ended questions) as data collection tool, among them, 369 ones were returned. The findings of the research demonstrate that there is a meaningful reverse co-relation between the students' familiarity with the libraries and the library services and resources (R = 4.054), but there is a meaningful co-relation between their unfamiliarity with the library departments and using accessible library resources (R = 0.0507). There is also meaningful co-relation between students' expectation rate (R = 0.615) expectations and knowing how to use the library. The findings also indicate that 63.1 percent of students are the library members. 71.8 percent of students use the library for reading needed textbooks. The library resources are not up-to-date and there is also lack of library resources (57 percent). The students are not skillful in using library sources (49 percent). The students need to take part in some courses to learn how to use library (75.3 percent). The students make use of computer for searching (61.8 percent). Methodology: The methodology was descriptive survey using a questionnaire and the reliability of which was measured 0.89 based on Cronbach’s alpha. Questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS software (version 16). Descriptive statistics techniques were applied. Findings: The results revealed that students most important goal when searching for data was to find information for their projects and they used both official and non-official methods for searching information. The books and personal experiences were the most important official and non-official sources for getting information respectively. The Science Direct database ranked first (86.3%) as the most used electronic database by the students while ISI (web of knowledge), Springer, ProQuest and Scopus ranked 2nd to 5th respectively. Methods of students’ retrieval of information were consulting by friends and faculty members, making errors & using experience, training courses in libraries and finally seeking advice of librarians. Conclusion: The main obstacles of easy access to information were low speed of the networks and problems of connections, lack of  enough English language knowledge, the interruption of universities subscription for electronic databases, lack of enough up to date sources in library and not using special resources by students.   Manuscript profile

Purpose: The main purpose of this paper was quality analysis of services provided by the Razi University Libraries based on gap analysis model. Methodology: This research used the survey method for collecting data. LibQual questionnaire was used to collect needed data. The statistical society included 9000 users of the Razi University Libraries. The sampling method was stratified random sampling. According to Krejcie and Morgan, the sample size was determined 358 users. Statistical analysis used in this study was descriptive and inferential statistics by SPSS-18 software. Findings: The average of minimum acceptable service of users on the impact of library services is more than other two dimensions. Also, on the best level of expected service, the users had the highest expectations of the impact of library services. The services adequacy gap was in dimensions of the "library as place" and "information control", respectively, -/724 and -/376 which were both negative. About services superiority gap, the Razi University Libraries failed to reach the expected level of users in none of the dimensions. Therefore, in all three LibQual, services superiority gap was negative and the greatest gaps were respectively: The information control (-99/1), impact of library services (-46/1), and library as place (-34/1). Conclusion: The results of this research indicate that the total mean of library services in terms of the services adequacy gap was positive. This means that the Razi University Libraries have been able to meet the minimum expectations of their users, but the services superiority gap was negative.     Manuscript profile
