        The present article is a comparison between Iran and Arab’s satire. Obeid Zakani’s satire as an Iranian satire has been compared to an Arabic one. Satire is a kind of prelude in which we can taunt, defeat or reveal someone’s weak points easily. In Arabic literature, the poet tries to defeat a person or tribe by using satire in his poetry. Satire’s aim is not “laugh’’; it is a means of expressing and transferring the aim of writer to the reader in a better way. Manuscript profile
