Resistance literature follows a unique orientation in most subjects and languages; poets and authors attempt to reflect their most important resistance themes in their works affected by common goals in order to encourage people to fight for their aims and lives. Thus the present paper – which is done in analytical – comparative method and based on American school of comparative literature – attempts to study common themes of two Persian and Arabic languages by focusing on two poets' works: Ahmad Mattar and Nasrollah Mardani and compares common concepts such as resistance, freedom and liberty, patriotism, call for fight and applying national, religious and tribal symbols.
