        Surrealism has principles similar to the principles of mysticism, which have become more prominent in the minds of some mystics, and Fakhreddin al-Iraqi, a great seventh-century Iranian poet and mystic, has never seen his poetry and prose from this perspective. And has not been studied and compared in the form of new literary criticism. In this article, which is a library and descriptive-analytical method, after a new reading of the relationship between mysticism and surrealism, their commonalities in Iraqi works are drawn and followed. In some areas of human life, like sleep and dream, the unconscious manifests itself in a much better way than reason. Surrealists, like mystics, use the unconscious and believe that it is a means for discovering the truths.
