  Investor’s beliefs about the future of capital markets can play an effective role on the market price trend and market trading volume trend. Investor’s beliefs about the future of the capital market refer to the views of investors. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to investigate the influence of beliefs optimistic and pessimistic investors are on the market price and trading volume market. The population of this research firms listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange and a sample of 50 companies with the highest market value in the five-year period 2010-2015. Sampling methods is systematic elimination and multiple regressions were used to test hypotheses. The results showed that investors are optimistic and pessimistic views on the positive and negative effects of market trading volume trend.
