        Background and Objective: Nowadays, landscape would be regarded as one of the main elements of identity, existence, stability of the environment and a connector between the environment and its users. In this regard, landscape and its relationship with people perception are very momentous. Analysis of the relationships between visual quality and structural characteristics of landscape is an effective method in cognitive researches. In general, studies which are performed based on the aesthetic criteria of landscape not only are searching about the beauty or excellence of landscapes but also are looking for the users' aesthetic preferences. In this study the goal is to prioritize walking tracks of Ziarat basin from the point of cognitive and aesthetic value by using conceptual approach. Method: For this purpose, field survey of walking tracks was conducted to take photographs and mark the viewpoints. Finally a questionnaire survey was developed to investigate the landscape preference which ordinal classification was used in it. Questionnaires were distributed between 217 of visitors. Data which obtained from questionnaires were analyzed by using SPSS software. Findings: The results showed that the walking tracks of the study area are totally different from the point of visual quality and due to visitor preference, Talambar walking tracks has attached the first priority and Sefid cheshmeh has attached the last priority. Discussion and Counclusion: The results of this paper would lead to introduce preferable walking tracks and special view points and landscape of each walking tracks. The results could also help the managers to develop more beautiful trails, and to design and construct sightseeing places along the trails for visitors. Manuscript profile

        Nowadays, demand for the recreational use in natural environment has increased significantly. Increasing recreational use in these areas lead to destruction of natural resources and also caused to visitors' dissatisfaction. Maintaining recreational places and providing visitors' satisfaction require the use of approaches which consider visitors opinion in the recreational areas management. In this study, some approaches of recreational areas management, that use visitor's opinion in the recreational areas management including Place-Based Programming (PBP), Benefit-Based Management (BBM), Scenery Management System (SMS) and the use of visitor information (NVUM) have been described. PBP is based on understanding the people' concepts and values in different special geographic locations. The relationship and dependence between people and places may be associated with emotional, psychological, social, cultural and historical properties of individuals and groups which used the places. BBM is based on the benefits of outdoor recreation and classified recreational area based on the benefits of recreational use. SMS is a visual management tool which uses people's aesthetic preferences for recreational planning and management. NVUM includes information collected from visitors which can be used to identify visitors' behavior, preferences, needs, demands and their satisfaction that used for recreational resource management. These tools use people opinions for developing management protocols. Therefore, successful management of recreational areas associated with preparing visitors' satisfaction along with maintaining quality of recreational area can be possible using these tools.   Manuscript profile

Now day tourism is boom in various regions. Actually the reason of travel and tourism growth is increase in number of leisure. In associate to tourism growth and competitiveness it, we need to develop and enhance the quality and quantity of recreational facilities and equipment. The goal of any development is related to the satisfaction of the managers and the users. In order to improvement of current management methods, one of the important steps is to record the views, preferences and satisfaction of people visiting such areas. The best way to survey is evaluate tourists in associate service quality that they must needs improvement. This way is easy and inexpensive. This paper shows how to multicriteria satisfaction analysis to determine visitors / tourists’ satisfaction is effective.         Environmental resources are valuable assets in the world which should be protecting as one of the human's main efforts. Nowadays, economic development, population growth and increasing of life business caused to increase the demand for recreational uses in natural areas. Analyzing of recreational demand factors in Iran indicated that need for outdoor recreation have been increased rapidly. Therefore, attention to the visitors' needs and preferences are very important as the main users. Recreational Opportunity Spectrum (ROS) approach is a comprehensive method to determine and allocate recreational area with a range of recreational opportunities in terms of the environment suitability and people's needs and preferences. In the present study the ROS approach have been described for recreational area management. This approach is based on the expectancy value theory and has been described by confirming that recreational behavior is goal-oriented and aimed at need satisfaction. ROS linked visitors' experiences with biological, physical and management attributes of settings. This approach has been prepared a map including 6 classes of recreational Opportunities in a range of primitive and undeveloped to modern and developed use.         Nowadays, assessment of the outdoor recreation demand in forest parks is very important to prepare the successful outdoor recreation plans and to schedule the facilities development in these plans. Recognition of visitor’s economic- social needs is essential to estimate outdoor recreation demand, because visitor’s socio-economic conditions have the great effect on mall selection to use of it. In this study outdoor recreation demand of Sorkhe Hesar forest park in east of Tehran was evaluated by interviewing and completing of questionnaire in the spring. Obtained results of this study were compared with the results of another study done in Sisangan forest park to investigate visitor’s outdoor recreation demand changes during thirty years. Comparison of outdoor recreation demand and investigation of visitor’s needs in in-city forest parks (Sorkhe Hesar) and out-city forest parks (Sisangan) showed that visitor’s outdoor recreation demand has not changed during thirty years. In addition, visitor’s outdoor recreation demand is similar in in-city forest parks (Sorkhe Hesar) and out-city forest parks (Sisangan) (except demands that depend on visitor’s distance) and visitor’s major purpose is rest in the healthy environment and inspiration in the healthy air. Finally we suggest that outdoor recreation planners consider the visitor's demand and tendency to create and develop the forest parks. Manuscript profile
