        1 - Socialization and its relation with social discipline of high school students in 1393-94 Educational years

        The purpose of this study is determining the relationship between social discipline variables and socialization and its dimensions. Social discipline variable is dependent variable based on Parson’s theory and socialization is independent variable according to Cooley, Mead and parson.Social discipline includes dimensions such as: economic order, individual order, order in family relations, moral order and educational order and also socialization includesdimensions as: responsibility, adaptability, accountability and social maturity. The population is all non-profit high school students in Tabriz and the sample of the study is 241 students who were selected by stratified sampling. This study is a survey and in order to collect the data a questionnaire was used that its reliability is evaluated by Cronbach Alpha. The results show that, there is a difference between social discipline and socialization and its dimensions and there is no difference between social discipline and adaptability dimension. More difference is between responsibility and social discipline. Also, there is a difference between economic order and moral order and socialization according to one- way an ova test.Moreover, the results of the examination of background variables and main variables show that, there is a meaningful relationship between gender and family income and main variables and there isn’t a meaningful relationship between parental occupational status, parental education, family size and major and main variables.  Manuscript profile
