        Abstract: This research studies the effect of cultural values on citizenship ethics commitment in the dimensions (practical-value and attitude) among citizens aged 18-68 in Tehran; the main question of this research refers to these question; wether cultural values in (private-public) dimensions effect on Commitment to citizenship ethics in Tehran citizens or not. The method of this survey is survey and the sample size is obtained by random and cluster sampling. The statistical population is citizens aged 18-68 years old living in Tehran. Assumptions were analyzed using Pearson's empirical tests, regression and path analysis. The research results suggest that cultural values in the private realm are in conflict with indices of religiosity, respect for tradition, and the internalization of traditional values with commitment to citizenship ethics. And cultural values in the public domain, such as peace, social order, security, honesty, benevolence, education, and age, have a meaningful relationship with commitment to citizenship ethics.
