This journal is following the principles of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).This journal is published under the Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License and authors are expected to be aware of publication ethics regarding authorship, dual submission, plagiarism, competing interests, research ethics, etc. according to the rules of this committee.
The scientific-research quarterly "Water Resources Engineering" has received a publishing license based on the approval of the forty-seventh session of the Review and Approval Committee of the Scientific Journals of Islamic Azad University on 03/23/2008. This quarterly journal has been awarded a scientific-research rank based on the license No. 3/11/184804 dated 23/2/2011 and based on the vote of the Publications Review Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on 31/1/2010. It is also indexed on the site of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC). This quarterly aims to publish theories, research results and scientific achievements, scientific-research articles in the field of water engineering and related fields such as (Hydraulics, water resources engineering, sediment hydraulics, climatology, climate change, hydrology, irrigation and drainage, water system resilience. Therefore, professors, experts and students can submit their articles through this website according to the terms of the journal.
This quarterly aims to publish theories, research results and scientific achievements, scientific-research articles in the field of water resources engineering and related fields such as Hydrology, water resources management, climate change, water resources management in agriculture and industry, hydraulic and hydraulic structures, environmental studies related to water resources, water and wastewater engineering and other issues related to water resources engineering and management.
In this journal all articles before referring are reviewed by “hamyab” system (Plagiarism check).
The Journal of Water Resours Engineering, based on the evaluation of Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) in 2021 this publication has been ranked Q2, according to the evaluation and ranking results of the year 2022, announced by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, has been ranked "A" and based on the evaluation of Islamic Azad University for journals in 2023 this publication has been ranked "A".
The Journal of Water Resources Engineering and Iran Hydraulic Association have signed a memorandum of cooperation on 20 Feb. 2022 and this publication is the result of joint scientific activities of Islamic Azad University, Marvdasht Branch and Iran Hydraulic Association.
