Abstract :

The purpose of this study is to explain and design a model of underlying factors affecting the sustainable development of sports in the suburbs through descriptive-analytical and combined (qualitative-quantitative) using data theory. The statistical population in the qualitative stage, including 30 people of experts and university professors specializing in citizenship sports and in the quantitative stage of city managers, sports experts and adult residents of Mashhad. Due to the diversity and uncertainty of the population, 384 people were selected as a sample using multi-stage cluster sampling... The validity of the themes (structures) was measured by the partial least squares method. The reliability of the retest and the subject-matter agreement method were performed. The reliability of the questionnaire related to the structural method was evaluated based on the obtained indices such as factor loads, Cronbach's alpha coefficients and combined reliability and was validated. Questionnaire was 0.85. The results showed that the obtained model included 5 main factors: economic factor (5 components), socio-cultural factor (6 components), public sports (3 components), championship sports (3 components) and individual-family (4 components). Identified and introduced at the lower level subdivided into smaller components as underlying factors influencing the sustainable development of sport on the outskirts of metropolitan areas. Therefore, it can be expected that by identifying the underlying factors affecting the sustainable development of sports on the outskirts of metropolises and focusing on strategic measures and practical and executive bases, conditions for its growth and development in the metropolis of Mashhad will be provided.
