Designing and Compiling a model of professional competencies of managers in controlling the country's sports crises with data Theory Foundation approach

Abstract :
The present study was conducted with an exploratory nature and with the aim of identifying the competencies of managers in managing national and international sports crises using the emerging (glazier) approach, data theory. The statistical population in this qualitative study was 25 people familiar with the literature of crisis management, diplomacy, and sports management who were purposefully selected for interview using the snowball technique. Data analysis was performed in a simultaneous manner and with open coding, selective coding, and theoretical coding. : Based on the research findings,12 main categories include:psychological characteristics, personality and mental health, ability to improve resilience and productivity of self and employees, mental abilities, transparency in response and performance, social decision-making skills and Innovative, Perceptual, analytical and tactful ability to provide appropriate feedback in crisis, crisis-related scientific and scientific competence, strategic preparedness for crisis, extensive and effective communication skills, effective diplomacy, self-management and human resources, risk and risk management, to Competency titles were identified. Developing this model provides an opportunity for managers to assess their skills based on the skills required, and focus on acquiring the skills necessary to manage crises in sport. Finally, these skills could be of great use for managers in training to prepare them for senior sports management positions,especiallyintimesof crisis.
