Sociological study of the relationship between Human capital and socio-economic development in Iran (with emphasis on the first to sixth 5-year development plans)

Abstract :

The statistical population of the study was students on the one hand and professors specializing in socio-economic development on the other. North Tehran Branch, who were studying in the second semester of 2019-2020, was a sample of 200 students. The findings of the survey indicate that there is a strong significant relationship between the components of Human capital (Elitism, Specialty, Innovation ) and socio-economic development. The results of the qualitative study showed that the causal conditions of accountability, rule of law, general consensus, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness, equal rights and responsibility have been identified and the central phenomenon of a single product economy in the field of private sector activity, independence of people and media, role The government, the participation of the government and the people, the political and organizational capacity of the government, the government and the provision of welfare and the bedrock of the government have emerged. Expertise, elitism and innovation as intervening conditions and single-product economics lead to social trust, social cohesion, social support and social participation, which are the consequences of such actions and reactions: welfare, social security, social justice and public education. According to these findings, it can be said that in good governance, prioritizing credible measures for political and administrative accountability, freedom of purposeful and efficient judiciary, freedom of information and effective performance of government organizations are essential in the process of comprehensive development of the country.
