Abstract :

Features such as thunderstorms and dust storms, foggy, snowy, and rainy days alongwith days containing frozen rainfalls have occupied great importance in fields likeagriculture, transportation, health, and environment. In this paper some abilities ofDigital Atmosphere software have been used in a spatial analysis of some of theabove-mentioned climatic features of Iran. The results indicate differences in spatiotemporaldistribution of the factors under study. Thunderstorms take a higher positionamong climatic elements studied, and the greatest spatial changes belong to the type ofdust storm distribution patterns.
