Abstract :
One of the important challenges faced by many cities, including Sanandaj, is the potential of high vulnerability to natural hazards. The geographical location and the geomorphological condition of Sanandaj city have caused these cities to be exposed to various risks, which has caused the high vulnerability of this city. Considering the importance of the issue, in this research, the vulnerable areas of Sanandaj city have been identified with the passive defense approach. In this research, the land use digital layer of Sanandaj city, digital model of 30 meters height and digital information layers are used as research data. The most important tools used in the research include ArcGIS and Expert Choice. Also, in this research, the integrated model of fuzzy logic-AHP has been used. According to the topic and objectives, this research has been done in three stages. In the first stage, vulnerable areas against earthquakes have been identified. In the second stage, vulnerable areas against landslides have been identified, and in the third stage, vulnerable areas have been identified based on the sensitivity of land uses. The results of this research have shown that a large part of the Sanandaj urban area has a high vulnerability potential, so that the floors with a high and very high vulnerability potential, with an area of 21.6 square kilometers, are about 83% of the area of Sanandaj city. Has covered. This class mainly includes the central areas (due to its worn-out fabric and residential and therapeutic uses, it has a high vulnerability potential against earthquake hazards) and the western areas of Sanandaj city (due to its residential uses and high vulnerability potential against earthquake hazards) Earthquakes and landslides.
