Abstract :
The rapid development of urbanization has had significant effects on old city textures. The old town nucleus has been constantly transformed to accommodate a large population, often migrants from recent years, which has exacerbated the exhaustion of these tissues. It is hardly possible to compensate for this turmoil with the plans of refurbishment and renovation. What is important in this regard is the participation of the people as an effective element. Accordingly, the present study was conducted using descriptive-analytical method. The aim of this study was to determine the extent of this participation by setting up a questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a test. To analyze the results, a sample T test was used in SPSS software. The results of this study reflect the general low and minimum public participation in the implementation of these projects and in various economic, social, physical and managerial dimensions.
