Abstract :
The complexity of social and physical structures in cities requires a calculated crisis management that includes all stages including the management before, during and after the crisis, and to achieve a coherent management during a crisis requires knowledge of the target area and knowledge of its needs. In this regard, geographical information systems can be used to identify and provide solutions to strengthen the effective indicators in the current research, which is done using descriptive and analytical methods using library documents and statistical data, including interviews and questionnaires, as well as the output of the system. Geographic information and using SPSS software have been investigated and the situation of crisis management in the 11th district of Tehran. The results of this research show that the proper coverage of hospitals in the district during the crisis was not durable. Very vulnerable incidents and also due to the low width of the roads and communication arteries in worn-out tissues will make it difficult to provide relief and assistance. Also, the inadequate coverage of fire stations is significant due to the high population density in the study area. Finally, solutions to improve the current situation and prepare to deal with critical situations have been presented.
