Abstract :
Nowadays, due to the limited resources of fossil fuels, the use of renewable energy such as solar energy, wind, biomass and water has attracted everyone's attention. In terms of construction, zero energy buildings have gained importance and popularity to reduce carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze zero energy buildings in order to investigate ways to reduce energy consumption and energy production by the buildings themselves, and by examining two successful models as case examples in Australia and Japan, ideas, methods and technologies can be found. They benefited in the matter of construction. In this research, using the descriptive-analytical method and using library studies as well as the use of internet sites, it has been investigated, analyzed and how to use these solutions. The results of this research show that the best and most economical step in order to reduce energy consumption in the building is done in the design process. Therefore, the first step to design a zero-energy building is to study the climate, so that by using information analysis to reduce energy consumption and optimal use of renewable energy, the most effective measures can be taken to reduce pollution and prevent environmental degradation. Bio took an effective step. Also, the analysis of case examples showed that the use of renewable energy can have positive effects on the self-sufficiency of a building in terms of providing and reducing energy consumption and also provide comfort to the residents.
