Abstract :
One of the most effective key aspects in the city’s development is in compliance with technical requirements in defining and managing its boundaries. In fact, proper policy making in the realization of integrated privacy management is the main pillar of the desired and interactive function of the boundaries. This is considered as key concern especially in the metropolises, because the diversity and density of different uses require correct decisions in the sustainability of the metropolises. As one of the most important metropolises in the country, Isfahan city is extremely influenced by urban activities. In this research, by taking advantage of the systematic review of resources related to the city boundary and existing policies with territorial functions in the framework of modern regionalism and stakeholder participation, and by applying the SWOT environmental factors analysis technique, suitable strategies for the integrated management of the city boundary of Isfahan have been presented. The results of this research show that there are 2 identified strengths against 13 identified weaknesses, there is a need to adopt a diversity strategy and review the integrated management policy of Isfahan metropolis. Also, the presence of 6 opportunities against 13 identified threats indicates inappropriate measures in providing integrated management of the Isfahan metropolitan area, and it is necessary to change them with invasive strategies.
