Time Management and Leisure Time of Students in Dormitory According to Quranic Learnings

Abstract :

Considering the importance of dormitories is within the scope of the social tasks of education, and that students spend much of their time outside the classroom and in their dormitories, this situation can be one of the best potentials for productivity. Relying on Islamic verses and hadiths, it is possible to obtain numerous and correct sources for spending leisure time, which are effective and useful for both the individual and society. Among the ways to spend leisure time according to Islamic sources and Quranic verses and hadiths and in line with time management in students, is worshiping God, reading books, sports, tourism, political activity and discussion. Thus, students, especially dormitory students, are different from others in terms of lifestyle, time spent. Therefore, by relying on these principles and considering the type and way of life of dormitory students, as potential forces for the growth and excellence of society, it is possible to help the progress and excellence of society by properly managing their leisure time.
