Abstract :
All followers of divine religions believe to life after death and know it one of the most fundamental religious issues. All the prophets, along with an invitation to monotheism, have spoken of the resurrection and life after death, and have put faith in the hereafter world on their agenda. Resurrection and the ultimate fate of humanity is one of the essential teachings of divine religions. Its implementation brings great intellectual and practical achievements for mankind. Hence, the present paper attempts to compare resurrection in the context of Islamic and Christian thoughts. The physical and spiritual resurrection, connection of soul and body and reward and punishment, represent the topics discussed.
