Abstract :
Empiricism in the contemporary era helped the growth of materialism and caused some contemporary thinkers to look at all dimensions of existence with a materialistic approach. Based on this, Iranian thinkers followed the materialistic approach to these concepts by placing sensory philosophy as a criterion in examining occult concepts. Since this approach was faced with evolutions, the present research tried to explain with the library method and the descriptive-analytical approach, what stages the mentioned approach has gone through and what are the context and consequences of these stages. have been. According to the investigations, the desired approach has gone through three stages: 1- The stage of denial of occult concepts: In this stage, occult concepts were considered contradictory to the findings of experimental sciences and were often denied by intellectuals. 2- The stage of active scientific materialistic adaptation: In this period, extensive efforts were made to adapt occult concepts to experimental sciences. 3- The stage of semi-active scientific materialistic adaptation: In this stage, with the neo-positivist transformations and hermeneutic view of the concepts of the Qur'an, the material adaptation subsided to some extent.
