Abstract :
In the interpretation of this verse, the commentators have mostly commented on the material creation and the material evolution of man.On the other hand, some interpretive narrations express a further meaning, according to which the verse also refers to the spiritual evolution of man.The main issue in this article is the principle of semantic development in the second verse of Surah "Insan" by referring to interpretive narrations and further, its stabilization by referring to other connected and disconnected evidences. The results of the research show that the interpretative narratives have pointed to the evolution of the material creation of man, as well as the spiritual evolution and the course of his spiritual evolution. This semantic development is confirmed by connected evidences such as: the previous expression of material developments in the first verse of the sura, the predominance of the use of the word "man" in his spiritual aspect, the harmony of the plural form "amshaj" with the spiritual aspect of man, the proportionality of the affliction of man to his spiritual aspect, The connection of hearing and seeing with the spiritual grace of man and the proportionality of guidance and free will of man with spiritual evolutions. Also, separate evidences confirm the development of meaning in the second verse, such as: the audience of the Qur'an and the gradual and wise expression of the creation of man, the connection of the position of divine caliphate of man with his spiritual aspect, and the harmony of space and atmosphere.
