Abstract :
Holy Quran, one of the verses that leads man to the highest level of monotheistic morality with his deep knowledge, especially about the virtue of "patience", is verse 156 of Surah Al-Baqarah, at the end of which is "Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return".A superficial interpretation of this verse, has restricted it to condolence in mourning. This research, by using a comprehensive and ijtehadi interpretation method especially the Qur'an to Qur'an and narrative method, tries to provide a correct and comprehensive understanding of the verse and to explain the relationship between the two verses of the verse, namely, being possessed by God and returning to Him, as well as the message of the use of "returning" in the structure of the active noun. The doctrine of this verse, which refers to the perfection of monotheism, with its unique composition and also its use in the Qur'an (in times of calamity and for patience) has no precedent in the teachings of other prophets. Considering it in the time of calamity completes the virtue of patience, because it not only eliminates sorrow and grief from the ground up, but also makes man attain the status of “Reza”.
