Abstract :
Extravagance has many instances in the Holy Quran. The phrase "God does not love the extravagant." (Surat al-A'raf: 31; An'am: 141) has been repeated twice in the Holy Quran. The phrase "no love" in the Holy Qur'an indicates the wrongdoing of an affair and its perpetrator for Almighty God, and its perpetrator is the object of divine wrath and hatred. Therefore, if this ruling is generalized to all small and big examples of extravagance, the result will be that whoever commits the slightest example of extravagance will be far from the God's mercy. According to the author, verses 141 of Surah An'am and 31 of Surah A'raf are used in two similar contexts, and they follow a certain structural style. In such a way that in both contexts, polytheism and charging the God to lying are considered. Also, there are identical expressions that increase the likelihood that both verses follow the same structure. For example, the phrase "He does not love the extravagant" is mentioned only twice in the Holy Qur'an and in the context of these two verses. The phrases "Whoever oppresses a believer after God is a liar" and "Whoever oppresses a believer after a lie against God" have been repeated in both cases. Also, from the point of view of the author of this article, "Alef"(الف) and "la" (لا) in the word "Al-Mosrefin" ((المسرفین in the phrase "Inna La Yohob Al-Mosrefin" (إنّه لا یحبّ المسرفین) contain only the extravagant people of the two mentioned verses.
