The Relationship between Emotional Maturity and Maternal Igo Power with Child Anxiety

Abstract :
Abstract The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between emotional maturity and ego strength of mothers with children's anxiety. The statistical population of the present study included all children aged 8 to 15 years old studying in Tehran in 2016 who referred to the Northeast Counseling Center and Tavanesh Rehabilitation Clinic. In order to conduct this study, 122 children were randomly selected from children aged 8 to 15 years referred to the Northeast Counseling Center and Tavanesh Rehabilitation Clinic with initial diagnosis of anxiety by a psychologist using available sampling method. To collect research data, three questionnaires were used for mothers: Spence (2007), Anxiety Puberty (Yashvasink and Bahargava (1974) and Igo (1997) for mothers. Data were analyzed by correlation and multiple regression analysis using SPSS program. The results showed that there is a negative relationship between emotional maturity and maternal ego strength and children's anxiety at the level (p <0.05). But only through the subscale of emotional instability of mothers related to emotional maturity, child anxiety can be addressed. In the nose.
