Abstract :
Abstract The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of emotion regulation Grass process model based on cognitive emotion regulation strategies in drug-dependent persons. The study was a experimental designs is that the pretest - posttest control group was used. The population consists of all drug-dependent persons admitted to Addiction clinics in Shiraz city. In this study, 30 drugdependent persons selected using purposive sampling And were replaced by random drug test and control groups. Selected 15 normal subjects as well as the control group for comparison with those dependent on drugs. After conducting research for the analysis of covariance analysis test and Fisher's post hoc test. Showed that training can be used in the most effective emotion regulation strategies of emotion regulation in substance dependent individuals contribute, The control group compared to the control and drug use cognitive emotion regulation strategies showed a more appropriate. Effective management of excitement that makes a person in situations that are high risk for substance abuse, the appropriate cognitive strategies to regulate their emotions and reduce the amount of material to be returned to the consumer.
