A suitable model for professional training of students with special needs

Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to present a suitable model of vocational training for students with special needs. The research method was a descriptive survey in terms of practical objectives and in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the research included all the experts and teachers working in exceptional education in Central Province (85 experts and teachers); Using Morgan's table, 70 people were selected as samples. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. The working method in this research was of a mixed type, which was initially used to collect data about the components and indicators of professional education of students with special needs by library study method and review of high-level documents, and after identifying the components and indicators; An open-ended questionnaire was developed and implemented to collect and analyze these components from teachers working in vocational schools of the whole province in the form of a semi-scripted interview. Interviews were obtained in the form of a 5-choice Likert questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.869. To analyze the data in the descriptive statistics section, the percentage of relative frequency, mean, and median were used. The final results of the research indicate that in the discussion of vocational training of students with special needs, all the indicators needed to be reviewed, and the well-being component of students with special needs was also very empty in this field, and this component has been neglected in the topic of vocational training.
