Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between stress and coping strategies with interpersonal relationships among employees of the 18th district of Tehran. The method of this research is correlational and according to the method of data collection, it is part of descriptive (non-experimental) research. The statistical population of this research included all the municipal employees of the 18th district of Tehran in 2014-2015. The sample of this research consisted of 100 employees of the Municipality of Region 18 which were selected by available sampling method. Costa and McCree (NEO), Daas stress, Lazarus coping strategies, and Quinn's interpersonal relationships questionnaires were used to collect information. Findings using Pearson's correlation coefficient showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the dimensions of personality types and interpersonal relationships. Also, there is a negative and significant correlation between stress and interpersonal relationships. The results of the correlation coefficient showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between the dimensions of personality types and job burnout. Also, there is a negative and significant correlation between problem-oriented strategy and job burnout and a positive and significant correlation with interpersonal relationships. Also, there is a negative and significant correlation between stress and interpersonal relationships.
