Abstract :
Aim: This research was conducted with the aim of studying the textual elements of the masahif of the Shiraz method from the Timurid and Safavid periods are kept the Qur'anic treasure of the Library of Astan Quds Razavi. The research method: This research was carried out in a developmental way and was conducted in a comparative method. Due to the lack of access to the original sources, the information gathering tool, a list was prepared as the basis of the review, which was prepared based on the comprehensive information of the target and classified through tables. Findings of the research: By reviewing the literature of the study and based principles of bibliography, we identified the exquisite Quranic masahif and the sources of the Shiraz method in the Timurid and Safavid period. Among the statistical population of the research and based on the characteristics of tarqime of the scribe's in the catalogs of the library, from the Timurid period, Quranic pamphlets nos.. 414, 826 and mushaf no.190 , and from the Safavid period the masahif nos.. 126, 136, 106, 112, 291 were referred as the exquisite sources of the masahif were subjected to the analysis of etymological knowledge. Conclusion: Among the pillars of the etymology that were examined in this research, five characteristics of the decorations of the fatiha-al-kitab tablet, the inscriptions of the surahs, the prayers of the leaves of the Qur'an at the beginning and the end of the Qur'an, the decorations
