Abstract :
In recent years, following the unprecedented expansion of cities and the increasing importance and role of cars in the city, the role of pedestrians in urban spaces has gradually faded. Pedestrian paths are the manifestation of civil life and the place of social encounters and the formation of social interactions. Today, pedestrian road construction projects are proposed in many cities as a solution to prioritize people. Many of these plans are carried out regardless of their possible consequences, and after the implementation of the plans, their negative and positive effects are revealed. In other words, the plans are implemented without study. In this research, we seek to investigate the physical, social and economic effects of the implementation of the health pedestrian plan of Ostad Shajarian, Shiraz. The current research is applied in terms of developmental goal and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. The statistical population of the research is all the people who are present in the footpath and its area of influence. To analyze the qualitative components, a questionnaire was used and its results were analyzed using SPSS software. ROR method was also used to analyze quantitative components. The results show that Ostad Shajarian's Health Walk has been useful for the citizens of Shirazi, considering its current function and structure.
