Abstract :
Among the most excellent schools that can lead the Islamic society towards excellence and evolution and give value and originality to all its efforts, is the holy school of "Waiting". Expectation is a noble, productive and dynamic concept in order to value the behavior of a follower and honor the movements of the Shia community on the way to the rule of justice and Islamic faith. From the point of view of Ahl al-Bayt's innocence and purity, waiting for the Faraj or the opening of the way is in itself a source of opening, salvation and salvation for those who are waiting in the age of occultation. Belief in Mahdism, like other components of religious beliefs, has educational and psychological effects on the individual and society, and paying attention to the role of Mahdism teachings in ethics, individual and social behavior has significant functions. In the present research, which is done in a descriptive-analytical way and is a review research in terms of the type of data used, the psychological functions of Mahdavitism and expectation-oriented lifestyle in the topics of hope, transcendental motivation to behaviors, giving meaning to life, social support, Locus of control, positive emotions and prayer have been studied. The results of this research show that religion, belief in Mahdism and expectation-oriented life style has important psychological functions for humans and improve mental health. The life style based on expectation and the belief of Mahdism causes a person to have a deeper and deeper understanding of himself and his God, and this causes motivation for sublime behaviors, gives strength to a person and achieves the meaning of life, emotions Experiences the positive.
