Abstract :
Abstract The aim of this study was to examine the efficacey of stress management training on subjective well-being, job burnout and quality of life in Karoun Oil Company employees. 30 individuals participated in the study that were divided in two groups randomly; whitin all the selected subjects, 15 subjects were put randomly to experimental group, and the other 15 were put to to control group. The research design was experimental with pretest-posttest. Subjective Well-being Scale (Dynrv et al. 1985) Job Burnout Questionnaire (Hiller, and Jackson,1981) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire (2006) were used as data sources in the current study. The experimental group received stress management training during seven 90-minute sessions while control group received none. For data analysis, multivariate and univariate analysis of covariance were implemmeted. The results showed that stress management training increased well-being and quality of life and reduced job burnout among the employees.
