Abstract :
Marital relationship is one of the most important and stable relationships between people who marry with the aim of achieving belonging and peace. In some cases, couples do not get the comfort and peace they expect from marriage and face problems. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of communication visualization on improving couples' communication patterns, marital dissatisfaction, marital conflicts, sexual dissatisfaction and extramarital behaviors of married women seeking divorce in Tehran. The current research is a semi-experimental study and the statistical population of the research is made up of women applying for divorce who referred to the family counseling centers of the second district of Tehran in 1402. The data collection tool was the Marital Conflicts Questionnaire (Barati and Senai, 2014), the Marital Boredom Scale (Pines, 1966), the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire (Larson, 1988) and the Extramarital Behavior Attitude Questionnaire (Whitley), 2006. Checking the normality of the data was done using the Shapiro-Wilk test, the covariance analysis test in the inferential test section, and the analysis of variance test was used. All analyzes were performed by SPSS statistical software version 26 at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the groups in post-test and follow-up, marital boredom, marital conflicts, sexual dissatisfaction and extramarital behaviors (P<0.05).
