The research community consisted of all the girls affected by emotional breakdown who referred to specialized clinics in Panj city of Tehran, and their number was approximately estimated at 175 people. In the sampling method, in order to correctly identify the number of girls who have suffered emotional failure, the screening method was used by answering the questionnaire. Ross' love shock (1999) was used. Information using Keys and Magyarmo's subjective well-being questionnaire (2003), Ross's love shock questionnaire (1999), ego strength Markstrom et al. (1997), emotion regulation Gross and John (2003) , and demographic and clinical questionnaires were collected. Data analysis was done in two descriptive and inferential ways. In the descriptive analysis, the researcher summarized and classified the collected data using descriptive statistics indicators. Partial least squares method and SmartPLS software were used to analyze the data and test the research hypotheses. The results of the test showed that the value of the moderating effect of emotion regulation in the relationship between psychological well-being and ego strength is equal to 0.106. The t-statistic of the adjustment effect was reported as significant at the 95% confidence level [P-Value ≤ 0.05]. According to these results, there is a significant relationship between mental well-being and ego strength with the moderating role of emotional regulation in girls affected by emotional failure
