The Role of Emotional Regulationin in Predicting Academic Depression in female high school During the corona virus

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to investigate emotional regulation in predicting the rate of academic depression in female high school students During the corona virus. The research method was descriptive-correlational and the statistical population of the study consisted of all high school students in Tehran in 2021, Sampling method in this study was based on sampling according to the size of the population, stratified random sampling based on community share in each school that the sample size of 100 people was selected. Gross and John (2003) Emotion Regulation Questionnaire and Bresso, Salanova and Scheffley (2007) Academic Depression Scale were also used to collect data. The research data were analyzed using a statistical package for social sciences version 22 at the descriptive and inferential levels. The results showed the role of emotion regulation in predicting academic depression in female high school students during the corona and according to the research findings, the independent variable of emotion regulation on the dependent variable of academic depression in female students during the corona It has an effect.
