Abstract :
In order to enjoy security in the international arena, different countries seek to increase their power while negotiating with like-minded governments to increase their power and security. One of the manifestations of China's emergence as a world power is the nature of the country's foreign policy, which tries to develop its bilateral relations with different regions. One of the regions in which China has tried to penetrate is the Middle East region. Therefore, in this research, in order to explain the security discourse policy of Iran and China in the field of energy, the most important concepts and assumptions of Waltz's theory of neorealism have been examined. Waltz's neo-realism theory analyzes the balance of power in the world from a structural point of view. From the perspective of this research, Kent Waltz's neo-realism theory can justify China's security-strategic policy in West Asia with Iran, especially in the field of energy in recent years. In this research, according to the variables involved in the theoretical model of Waltzian neo-realism (structural realism, in its appropriate theoretical framework), the influence of Iran and China's security-strategic policy in the Middle East politics has been investigated. Finally, this research concludes that the national goals of military power, which neo-realists consider to be the most important means; The main reason is the discourse between Iran and China.
