Abstract :
Undoubtedly, the Middle East is one of the most important regions that has attracted the attention of many international actors. The United States has been one of the most important trans-regional actors involved in the political, security and economic equations of the region. The purpose of this study is to answer the fundamental question of what is the direction of the political, economic and security relations between Iran and the United States by 2026? In this article, we study this issue with a descriptive-analytical method, relying on written library resources and online articles. The results of the present study, taking into account the view of Alexander Went, confirm the dominance of the Hobbesian view or hostility over the Kantian view or friendship. Among the issues that have affected Iran-US relations and made the Hobbesian view of hostility or hostility prevail are the existence of fundamental ideological conflicts between the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and the American liberal system, the position of Israel and the Zionist lobby against Iran, the influence of the Gulf countries. Fars and led by Saudi Arabia, economic sanctions, threats of regime change, support for opposition groups, the martyrdom of Sardar Soleimani, Iran's isolation in the international arena and the US unilateral withdrawal from the Borjam agreement, which could improve relations between Iran and America is inconceivable.
